Mid-Semester Introduction

It seems like one of the popular topics from my introduction was my study abroad trip to Italy! Here are a few more pictures from my trip.  I could talk about it for days so if anyone has questions or is contemplating studying abroad, I would love to chat with you about it!

This was at the Trevi Fountain but it was under construction.  I tried to recreate the Lizzie McGuire movie, but this was as good as I could do.

This was in the Coliseum in Rome, Italy.

These are some spinach and ricotta ravioli we made in one of our cooking classes.

You can't beat the water and the sights in the Amalfi Coast!

I loved seeing the beautiful vineyards in Tuscany.

And we couldn't go a day without our cappuccinos.

  1. Hi Alyse,
It is so neat that you went to Italy and had such a great time! I have a friend who is spending the semester in Arezzo, so it’s cool to hear about other people’s experiences. I love that you tried to recreate the scene from the Lizzie McGuire Movie! I used to love that. Though I’m not going to Italy, I’m going to Europe at the end of December, so seeing your pictures made me extra excited for the trip!

And the spinach ravioli you made! Those look delicious! I have always wanted to learn how to make homemade pasta!!! Hope you have a great semester!!
